Up...Up...And out of the inversion
(A view from the canyon looking down into the inversion in the valley)

This is what happens every so often in Salt Lake, during the winter time when warm air gets trapped in the valley. Pollution starts to accumulate and we live in a thick layer of gross darkness, until a snow storm comes and wipes it all out!
Luckily, for us Utahns, we have the beautiful mountains so close by, we can drive out of it. That's what we did, and we went Shleding! Shleding is a mix between snow shoeing and sledding. We strapped snow shoes to our feet, sleds to our backs, hiked up a mountain for 4 hours, ate lunch at the top and sledded down.
At the top of the mountain. Of course my brother melted snow for hot chocolate.
The daring men, choosing the treacherous ride. I must say, we were all going down some pretty steep hills, you kind of have to. I took the more safe route on many places though, and of course went the slowest down the mountain by using my snow shoe breaks.
The crew. And an eventful Saturday.
