From the Heart

Flashback. So I have some fun pictures and memories from this last fall semester. So I need to do some flashbacks so I can have these special memories documented. This post is about a singing group that I was in during the semester. Part of the groups official intro goes as follows...

"From The Heart is religious choir that is comprised of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rexburg Idaho. Although not affiliated, the group is primarily comprised of students who attend Brigham Young University-Idaho. From The Heart creates and performs religious fireside programs that are focused on our Savior Jesus Christ and his teachings. It is the goal of the choir to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and spoken word. The power of music is a powerful tool for praising the Lord, and testifying of his life."

They hold auditions every semester for this fun group. Practices are a blast and From the Heart goes on tour every 3 months. They also have an opportunity to record and a CD is produced with new music every semester. It is a student run choir and a new presidency is chosen every semester. Unfortunately, I missed the tour this last semester because of other obligations, but it was a highlight for the rest of the group.

Here are a couple other pictures from our retreat...

FTH firesides are awesome because we get to share and feel of the spirit through music.

I miss From the Heart! You guys are the best!

This picture is even better because Heather photoshopped her head in. See if you can find her.
